A Community of Dairy Experts

The Brookings facility is located near South Dakota State University, whose distinguished Dairy and Food Science Department supplies us with many of our employees, and which contributes to our community of knowledge, safety, and modernization.

State-of-the-Art Dairy Science

The Brookings plant exclusively creates Mini Babybel, so it’s safe to say that they’ve mastered its production. There they produce five flavors–Original, Light, Mozzarella, Sharp Cheddar, and White Cheddar. All of the equipment in Brookings is the very height of modern, from its high-speed vision quality control system to high-tech molding machines and a finished goods racking system. Every part of the process is optimized to save energy and to produce the highest quality.
