Meet Frédéric

Frédéric Nalis

President and CEO, USA

Frederic Nalis began his Bel experience in 2003, where he joined us from Procter & Gamble Europe. His first role with Bel was Division General Manager of Asia-Pacific, then he moved on to fill the role of CEO of Greater Africa before becoming President and CEO of Americas in 2013. He’s been leading the Bel Brands USA team ever since. Frederic is trilingual, possesses a Master of International Business, and completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme at the Fontainebleau in France.

Frederic is just as serious about sports and athleticism as he is about sharing smiles at Bel. He was selected for the French National Rugby Team at age 18 and has completed 5 semi Iron Man races (76.3 miles each for a grand total of 381.5 miles, if we’re counting). Since he moved to the states he’s kept up with his training, completing his first full Chicago marathon in October 2015. Frederic loves to travel and has been to 50 countries (and counting).

Meet Pelin

Pelin Tomay

VP Supply Chain, USA

Pelin Tomay joined us at Bel in 2015. As VP of Supply Chain she’s responsible for ensuring that each customer receives the highest level of service, for supporting new business initiatives, maintaining our profit margin, and providing support for everyone on the supply chain team. She was integral to the development of the Supply Chain Vision and Strategy Roadmap, which was the driving force behind simplifying Bel’s supply chain network, eliminating waste, reducing working capital, and establishing more relevant KPIs.

Pelin brings us years of experience in engineering for Fortune 500 companies where she worked on production efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing process improvement. Her education includes an MBA from Purdue, a Master’s of Engineering Management from the State University of New York, and a BS from Bogazici University in Istanbul. Pelin enjoys spending time with her children and staying active in their school, the Lycee Francais de Chicago, with things like academics, sports, art, and their “Great World Citizens” program that does outreach in Chicago’s historic neighborhoods.

Meet Heather

Heather Rewiski

Chief Customer Officer, USA

Heather Rewiski joined Bel in 2012 as Vice President of Sales, and has since then risen to Chief Customer Officer. Her extensive career background includes various VP-level sales roles at Sara Lee, and leadership positions at Nestle and Anheuser-Busch, before beginning her professional sales career at Ralston Purina Company. Heather earned her BA from Michigan State, an MBA from Arizona State, and graduated from the Food Executive Management program at Cornell University. At Bel, she oversees all Sales functions for Bel Brands USA including customer sales, category leadership, broker partner management, trade supervision, and retail excellence. The recipient of several awards related to her excellence in leading great teams and sales results, Heather’s oversees trade spending across all Bel’s major brands, is responsible for $450MM in sales, and manages 34 sales associates. She is also accountable for long-range strategic plans and cross-functional coordination across departments.

In Heather’s spare time she enjoys running, hiking, horseback riding, and skiing. An avid photographer, she also loves cooking, spending time with family, and cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks and the Michigan State Spartans.

Richard Saucedo joined Bel over two years ago as HR Director, Industrial USA and is now our VP of Human Resources. No stranger to the CPG industry, he was at Mars for 10 years—along with 10 at Alcoa and five at Fiat. He has is BBA in business management with a minor in communications and marketing, and speaks both English and Spanish. As VP of Human Resources, Richard leads the “people strategy” for the USA, Canada, and Latin America, which includes managing HR, compensation, benefits, training, and talent. Richard was proud to be part of the 2014 Bel core values re-launch, which helped to articulate Dare, Commit, and Care. Richard also credits these values as being the driving element for Bel’s unique and dynamic culture, as well as in moving the business forward and developing new and emerging leaders.

In his spare time Richard plays softball, dodgeball, and runs marathons (6 so far). He’s passionate about traveling and is interested in discovering and experiencing different cultures. He strives to put himself in challenging situations, often traveling internationally without an agenda or hotel reservations and with only a thirst for adventure.

Meet Jean-Philippe

Jean-Philippe Gourdon

EVP Manufacturing, Bel Americas

Jean-Philippe Gourdon has been at Bel since 2008. As Group Engineering Director for the first five years of his tenure, among many other initiatives he was instrumental in launching our Zero Accident Safety Program, our Brookings plant, and our Ivory Coast facility. In his current role, he’s in charge of all manufacturing activities, and responsible for ensuring on-time, efficiently-produced finished goods while still adhering to the highest safety standards. Before joining us at Bel, he spent 18 years at Nestle. He speaks French, English, some Thai, and has lived in Egypt, Thailand, Portugal, and Indonesia. He enjoys cooking, planning and taking new trips, photographing his journeys, and rooting for the Cubs.

Francis Perrin

Francis Perrin

CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER, USA

Francis Perrin joined Bel USA in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer. Francis is responsible for leading the US brand strategy, marketing and branding efforts for all Bel products and plays a key role in the development and adaptation of global strategic initiatives.  In this role, Francis oversees the management of Bel’s brands, including advertising, digital marketing, agency management, marketing effectiveness, innovation, social responsibility, media and communications.

Francis brings twenty years of brand management and global marketing experience with world leading consumer packaged goods companies in Canada, France and the United States.   His extensive professional background includes different leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, L’Oreal, and Pernod Ricard.  His education includes a degree in Business Administration from HEC Montreal (Canada) and a Master’s degree from Columbia University in New York City (USA).

In his spare time Francis is an avid competitive squash player, a marathon runner, and he also enjoys hiking, skiing and cooking with his family.  He is a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Montreal Canadiens.

Francis lives in the Old Town neighborhood of Chicago with his wife and two young children.
